UD: June Training Update
As we are fast approaching the Summer break, it is important we take a look back on all the great achievements that have been made in training over the past month.
This months focus across all our training sessions has been on small sided games and improving our decision making when in possession of the ball.
Small sided games are always a great way of ensuring players touch the ball more frequently and also face the task of making their decisions quicker due to the smaller field size.
With over 600 children training regularly with us in Regents Park & St Albans every week, we are so proud to see so many children using football as a vehicle to not only improve their footballing ability but additionally to improve their social skills, problem solving and maintaining good health and well-being.
As we only have a few weeks remaining of our Summer Term, we do encourage all our players to practice as much as they can during the Summer break, fine tuning all the skills they’ve been working on this term. It is important to mention that we are running Football camps throughout the summer for those players that are around and more information on those camps can be found via the links below:

In London, our Monday football session at Paddington Rec Park has seen a vast amount of sign ups from our U7s group over the past month and we have witnessed some real positive technical improvements from all involved. In light of their recent improvements, our U7 team have been outstanding in their latest weekend friendly fixtures, winning their two latest games 2-0 and 3-0 respectively!
Finally, if you find the time please visit our UDFC YouTube channel where we have a whole host of videos for our players to follow along to. We have a ton of skills, tricks and pro top tip videos to keep everyone improving when they’re not on the fields with us.
